No "Posers" or "Wannabes" Allowed Ok gang...I'm gonna level with you... It's time to separate the proverbial "wheat" from the "chafe"... I've busted my ass the past few years to grow my business and my site...and it's brought some great success. I've met a ton of great people, gotten a lot of awesome feedback from y'all, and been lucky enough to trade emails with you, become "friends" on facebook, and more. I welcome all the questions I get, and am glad I've been able to help some of you. I get great enjoyment out of it. But...I've been at this for a while now. Wrote my first book back in '03. Been writing for MMA Weekly.com since not long after. Been working out since I was in middle school. Been helping guys with their workouts - get stronger, faster, bigger, and more - since high school. Over 16 years. Been watching and/or involved with MMA somehow since the mid-1990s. And I've come to learn something about the MMA, fitness, and strength & conditioning industries... They're full of posers and wannabes. And posers are a friggin' waste of time. As my business has grown, it's created a lot more work for me. And that's cool - I welcome it. However, the amount of "noise" I've had to deal with has gone up considerably as well. The number of people I spend good, quality time and effort on...only to have them to turn out to be posers...is really getting to be a piss-off. For instance...had a guy that was a "friend" on facebook. This guy spent the better part of at least 3 weeks asking me questions, sending me emails, wanting my advice. And I was glad to help him out...just like I am anybody. By the end of the whole thing, he asks me "Hey - aren't you the guy with the workout books?" Kinda an odd question, I thought (esp since I usually try to post an article or training link or something cool at leats 4-5x/week on my facebook page), but no problem. I give him my website links and tell him I'd be glad to continue helping him any way I could. He immediately responds - "Too bad I'm too broke to buy your stuff". I kinda felt like he was trying to get me to hook him up with my stuff for free...which I'm not gonna do. First, this is how I make my living - I got kids to take care of. Second - and more important to me - I've got THOUSANDS of awesome folks like y'all that have spent your hard-earned cash with me...and in my opinion, it's a slap in the face to y'all that have bought stuff from me for me to just give it to somebody else. I did feel for the guy...I mean, I know times are hard and the economy sucks. But there just wasn't anything I could do. But then...the VERY next day...he emails me...AGAIN. Only this time, he starts telling me about this new MMA gym he's just joined...about the classes he's gonna take...the instructors...how much he's paying to go there...etc. Now wait a minute...the day before, he's too broke to buy anything...today he's joining a new gym (to the tune of roughly $200/month)? LOL @ this guy. Here's the thing that really pissed me off though - this guy was a complete poser from the beginning. He's likely never gonna really put any work in. He's never gonna have the discipline to train. He's never gonna really get anywhere. But how much time of mine did I waste on this poser, answer emails, giving him advice, etc.? Way too much. Especially considering that I coulda been helping somebody else...somebody who would appreciate it...would put the time and effort in...would have the discipline...would "take the ball and run with it" (so-to-speak). Just like most of y'all. I'm done dealing with posers and wannabes. So here's the deal folks... If you want to continue getting emails from me...want to continue to be on my list...want to continue getting good info, workouts, training tips, and more...then it's time to prove you're not a poser. Time to "put up or shut up". To continue getting emails from me, I'm asking that you click on the button below, and purchase a lifetime subscription to my newsletter list... ...for ONE MEASLY BUCK. Yup - $1. 100 pennies. A dollar. A buck is nothing...and honestly, after I pay my transaction fees and everything...I'm barely getting anything out of it anyway. Trust me, this isn't some sorta hair-brained scheme to try and make a few quick bucks... It IS, however, an easy way to weed posers out of the crowd. Which is exactly what I want to do...get rid of any posers off my list. They take up too much of my time...which takes up time I can be giving to those of y'all that really deserve it. But...don't think you're not gonna get anything out of the deal. I've got a new product I'm working on...one based on my own personal workouts when I was overseas doing govt. contract work in Iraq. And when you purchase a lifetime subscription to my newsletter, you'll get the program overview...FREE. As a "thank you" for being on my list...and for not being a poser. (Oh...and I'm not even sure this program will even be available to the public...I kinda doubt it. Only members of my newsletter list will have any sort of access to it. Now, there is ONE EXCEPTION to the rule - if you've ordered from me before, then I feel it only appropriate to "grandfather" you into the new list. Just shoot me an email with what product your purchased and the email address on your transaction. After I verify it, I'll shoot you instructions on how to get on the new list ASAP.) Don't dilly-dally on this. You'll be getting several emails from me in the coming days about this...because this offer isn't lasting long. This offer to get in on the new "poser-free" list isn't going to be around long...as I'm already extending it right now...and I'm not sure how much longer this offer will be around...come whenever seems like a good idea to me, those who haven't purchased their lifetime subscription for just $1 (or notified me b/c they meet the "exception to the rule") - are getting booted off my list. Gone. See ya. Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out. The first two newsletters to the "poser-free" list have already gone out...and the members have already gotten their FREE program overview to my new product, "TCC - The Contract Chronicles". And so far...TCC ain't gonna be open to the public. The only way to get in on it is to get on the poser-free list. So, if you wanna keep getting my newsletters, free info, workout and supplement tips, and more...as well as the TCC workout program overview for FREE...click the "Add to Cart" button below: (Be sure to click the "Return to Merchant" button when your transaction is complete.) Train Hard, Rest Hard, Play Hard.
PS...This is probably gonna piss some of you off. So be it. Unsubscribe off my list now, then. I only want people on my list that are serious about their training, learning, knowledge, and growth. And if you're not will to spend a buck to do that...well...I don't want you on my list anyway.

"Hey man, that's so f@#$ing crazy
that you just emailed me, I'm reading your article about sand bags right
now on MMA Weekly! I would love to try one of your workouts. I've read
several of your articles, and I really like your approach...You've got
some great ideas, man. I really liked the sand bag article. Thanks again, and take care," Joe Rogan UFC Color Commentator BJJ Brown Belt US Open TKD Champion, MW & HW TKD Champion
"I
have been training in MMA for a year and lifting weights for over two years
consistantly. I have trained in bodybuilding, crossfit, and powerlifting for
different aspects of conditioning. But NOTHING is like your MMA workout plan...As
far as my skills training goes this program has created a buzz by my team about
if I am on the "juice" or not. I am able to run through my partners
and keep going. The cardio work has allowed me to go a whole class without a
break, and then go to my next class and keep the intensity going...I LOVE this
workout plan and want to get some of my teammates going..." "Hey
man, I had my first mma fight in New York last weekend and ended up giving up
30 pounds to my opponent because he was the main event fighter and his opponent
backed out. They asked me to fight up in weight in the main event against this
guy and I won via arm bar submission in the second round. I just wanted to thank
you for the programs with the sandbag because I was stronger and better conditioned
then this guy who has apparently won the gold cup tae kwon do championship 7
out of the last 8 years. If it wasn't for my strength and conditioning, I probably
would have never gotten him to the ground and won. Just wanted to give you a
shout out and say thanks." "It's
cool to see you layout the rep schemes for the power complexes. And I liked
the section on healing shoulders, lots of guys out here have that problem...And
also, good to see you include MFD, I am still a huge proponent of that, I think
it's key." "...it's
like you reached into my head and pulled out what I've been attempting to accomplish
and I'm only on the first 20 pages...approaching conditioning from both ends
is f#cking genius. I was doing it from the intensity point of view only..." |
